This is sort of a "mini" hit -

Thanks to two LM_NET members, I can post this information about the
magazine:

Title: Kahani

Description: Kahani is a literary magazine dedicated to empowering and
educating South Asian children living in North America. It is an alternative
publication that reflects their unique life experiences not found in
mainstream literature, and created especially for children in elementary
school.

Issues Per Year: 4

Frequency: Quarterly-4 per year (1 each 3 months or season). Winter spring
summer fall.

Also, I received a kind response from the editor of the magazine. She
permitted me to post her reply which gives specific information about the
countries within their focus of  "South Asia."  I have included the
information (follows below) since some of you do have student populations
from these countries. I have students from several of these countries, but
many more of Vietnamese and Korean ancestry. Please send me any info you may
have for magazines for this group. I have not had anyone yet reply to me
that they receive this magazine, but it has won several awards.

South Asia includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal,  Bhutan,
and the Maldives.
