[CALIBK12] Query: Expository Fiction

Oh wise ones, 

I have a request from one of my LA teachers. I am drawing a blank right
now and am wondering if you can help with any suggestions. 

 

I'm looking for an expository fictional book/novel that a 6th grade
student might enjoy.
