[CALIBK12] ELEM TARGET: Author visit from Dow Kump

Hello to all (and please forgive cross postings),

I have been contacted by an Arizona children's author by the name of Dow Kump who has expressed interest in having an author visit at my school. He is not charging us for the visit, but I am sure he is going to sell his books before and after the event.

I have been to his website and it looks ok, but I wanted input from those of you who know. General impressions are great and I would appreciate it if you could answer the following questions (I will post a hit):

If Mr. Kump has come to your school, how was the presentation?
Were the children entertained?
Were his presentation and books age-appropriate?
Were his books a good value (something the kids check out AFTER he's gone)?
Would you have him again?
