Is the southern section having a Summer Camp for paraprofessionals, because they sound like an incredible resource!

I saw Peter's posting today and can't let the bay area folks get ahead
of the Central Valley!
**
Tuesday, August 5th in Selma [30 miles south of Fresno], we are hosting
our 3rd annual Summer Camp. We too have an exciting billing with an
introductory story by our own George Pilling followed by author Jeff
Savage.
* Our breakout sessions include presenters Sandra Yoon, Brigeen
Radoicich, Kathy Pinasco / Martee Barnett, Maria Petropulos among
others.
* Registration is online at
http://fresno.k12oms.org/eventdetail.php?gid=140&id=14353 with a
deadline of JUNE 1ST
* Register early [May 15th] and be eligible for a gift certificate
from Demco.
* New this year - One $500 grant to attend the state conference in
Sacramento. Check out the link at
http://chnm.gmu.edu/tools/surveys/4518/ and then register for Summer
Camp to be eligible.
* Bring your checkbook and buy a storytelling CD by George Pilling,
and/or an autographed book or two from Jeff Savage [his titles are
appropriate from gr. 4-9/10].
We may be scorching here in the Central Valley but you'll have a
wonderful day, filled with good food, and lots of networking
opportunities.
Hope to see you there,
Margaret Baker
