[CALIBK12] ALA Book Cart Drill Team

Dear CALIBBERS,
 
CSLA Southern Section is putting together a "Book Cart Drill Team" at the
ALA Conference in June. The event takes place on Sunday, June 29 from 4 P.M.
- 5:30 P.M. None of us has any experience with this, but we can't resist the
opportunity to publicize our organization at a conference on our home turf
and show how great California TLs are! We invite you to join the team.
 
We're planning a meeting/rehearsal on Saturday, May 24, probably in Tarzana
(location to be confirmed) from 10 A.M. until about 1 P.M., and will try to
limit it to one other rehearsal before the conference. You don't need to be
an athlete or a dancer, just enthusiastic :). Our plan is to do a very
simple, fun routine to the Beach Boys "California Girl."
