Thanks to all who responded. I believe everyone had a library link on their
school's homepage- about 99%. One person had it one level (layer) down. Of
course I knew I was asking the choir, so to speak. I KNEW you all would
think we should have such a link. Which I do too. Now to convince the powers
that be.
Here is a good response:
Hmmm....students go to school to learn. The library media center is the
portal to the information, print and digital, that supports learning.
Students who never set foot inside the physical plant unless a teacher
schedules the visit may still turn to the cyber location for their
information and technology needs. The library media center is the hub of
student learning on campus; it definitely needs to be front and center on
any school's home page.
