My middle school students love them--we literally cannot keep them on
the shelves. Girls, especially, love the melodrama, and I honestly think
that with everything kids are exposed to online and on TV, Bella and
Edward's decision to abstain is more provocative to the kids than any
love scene could be at this point. :)

Subject: [CALIBK12] Middle School

I would love to hear middle school teacher librarians' opinion of the
Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer.  Have you included it in your middle
school collection?  Why do you think Booklist and School Library Journal
recommend it for 9 and up?  I have only read the first book, not the
sequels.  Thanks in advance for your input.
