I recently used this data on LMT to student staffing from the CDE
website:
"California ranks fifty-first in the nation with a ratio of 1:5,965"

Subject: [CALIBK12] updating natl. TL stats
I am updating our library manual and would like to see if I can get new
stats for the following information:
"Fewer than 60 school districts out of almost 1000 have a district level
school library professional. Two-thirds of california schools do not
have any professional library staff. The ratio of professional LMTs to
students is: Nationally: 1 to 992 students, California K-121 to 3193
students."
I can use some stats from the Standards and Guidelines document but am
unsure if there is updated info since it was published.
Thanks for your help.
