On June 7th, the always amazing Sarah Passoneau and I are going to be opening up the new Media Resources building at the Orange County Dept. of Education with a training day that will include a hands-on workshop where you will create podcasts of booktalks. We will discuss both elementary and young adult booktalking and the process of creating booktalks. We will be using Audacity to create dynamic podcasts that are ready to be posted to your website.

The flier is on my wiki (see link below). Sarah will also be presenting 21st Century Research skills in the afternoon. Jump on this opportunity, it is sure to be fun, informative, and a valuable training with an immediate impact on your students and library.
