[CALIBK12] LMT's with part time teaching duties

The LMT's in my district of Hemet U.S.D. are being given 2 to 3 classes
to teach next year as a way of addressing the budget crisis.  Does
anyone know how many classes you have to teach in order to get a prep.
period?  Also, with regards to getting extra pay for teaching for 6
periods, our contract states that a teacher will receive a 6th period
pay assignment if his prep hour is taken away.  LMT's in our district do
not have a stated prep period, so we do not receive a 6th period pay
stipend when assigned to teach classes and work as the librarian.  Does
anyone have any comments?
