What happy news for you and your community. Perhaps you could share any
analysis of why it worked this time and not another, especially when we
seem to be having such a downturn in the economy. It might help others
when they are planning a bond issue.
I hope you can attend Doug Achterman's session at CSLA and learn a little
about collecting statistics to show what makes a difference. You will need
the statistics you gather for the years until the new building is opened
to be able to compare what happens in the years after the space is
increased.

Part of the plan for LHS is doubling the size of the library with seating for two classes, 2 full size computer labs (the current ones are crammed into small rooms), and a real textbook room. The library expansion is several years down the road but it will be great for our school. The bond passed with 62%. A similar bond for the same project failed a year and a half ago with about 54% support. I am stunned. I really didn't think it had a chance.
