Hi Judy,

EBSCO's Novelist database is great for this purpose, although it requires a subscription. My local public library (right near you in Escondido) gives access to anyone with a library card, so I recommend that option to students.

Amazon.com also does some recommending in several different ways... when you look up an individual title scroll down the page and look for any of these headings: "Customers who Bought this item also bought..." "Listmania!" and "So You'd Like to..." If you create an Amazon account, you can also rate books and click onto the individualized "recommendations" link at the very top of the page. (Mine says "Hello, Emily. We have recommendations ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/yourstore/ref=pd_irl_gw ) for you.")

Good luck!
Emily Milla

A teacher of mine is looking for websites that recommends books. We're
looking for a site where you can type in a title and they can tell you
titles of books that you may like based on the title you typed in.
(Similar to the Netflix way of recommending movies "if you liked ____,
you may also like ____"). Any suggestions?
