Hello,
Hello Barbara and calib folks,
For collection age of the 973 Dewey range here's what I found for
Destiny users:
1. Go to Reports: Collection Statistics Historical
2. Click on 'collection statistics summary'
3. Click on the tab on the right that says "age"
4. Then click on 900 - 999
5. NExt click on 970 - 979
6. Click on 973 and you'll see the number of copies with dates /
average age or that range.
Hopefully I stated these in order correctly...
Even though we have this fantastic method, I assigned my T.A.s to do
it manually - all of them [so I could see if their answers
varied :)]. They'd count the number of volumes in the range. Create a
list of the copyright dates. Add the dates up. Divide the total by
the number of volumes. It's always a good "real life" math problem.
