Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD) Program
California Teachers of English Language (CTEL/CLAD Certification 2008)
As of January 31, 2008, the State's CLAD program authorizations are expired. After that date, CLAD certification will be awarded upon after completion of a newly authorized CTEL program (other CLAD certification options are listed at www.ctc.ca.gov). UC Berkeley Extension is expecting to have CTEL program authorization from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) by Spring 2009.
For more information, call UC Berkeley Extension at (510) 642-1171 or e-mail askeducation at unex.berkeley.edu.
