Hi All,

Do not miss the Legislative Luncheon on Friday!  With so much turmoil
surrounding the CA budget right now, we are so fortunate to have Jeff Frost,
our CSLA legislative advocate, as our luncheon speaker.  Jeff will give us
the most up-to-date information possible regarding the impact of the current
fiscal situation on our schools.

Governor Schwarzenegger has called on the Legislature to convene a special
session that will expire at the end of this month to find a solution to the
$11.2 billion budget deficit.  The governor has proposed a 1 ½ cent sales
tax increase and $4.5 billon in spending cuts.  The situation is changing
daily and this is your opportunity to be well informed!
