[CALIBK12] CSLA conference starts next week!

Hello everyone -

Have you had a moment to sit down and look over the conference  
preliminary program yet?  There is an amazing array of   choices for  
concurrent sessions to attend,  exhibitor booths to visit, exhibitor  
receptions, the president's reception, legi lunch, CYRM banquet and  
author banquet..... an incredible wealth of professional development  
and colleague camaraderie. This is truly an incredible line up of  
events.

Friday's legi luncheon will feature Jeff Frost who will enlighten us  
about the Governor's budget and it's impact on school libraries. We'll  
talk about how important it will be next April to show up for legi day  
in Sacramentol.  Come and hear all about how we can make an impact on  
our legislators.


If you can't come to the whole conference, then as Jane suggested  
earlier in the week, do consider coming up for the weekend. The  
conference committee has lined up non-stop sessions and activities for  
everyone - drop on by!
