[CALIBK12] social issues/government policies

Good afternoon - I need a little help.  At the senior level our students
complete a research paper on a social issue.   Topics include abortion,
drunk driving, animal abuse, etc.

 

My problem is that I need solid print resources that specifically refer
to Government policy and these issues.  I am struggling to find titles
and material that deal with how the government is addressing these many
issues.

 

Does anyone have a series or publisher that they would recommend?
