[CALIBK12] Joe McHugh's Keynote address

Hello everyone,  
I have to say I was most impressed with Joe McHugh's Keynote address.  His political corollary between medieval and current politicians was just amazing.  I will never be able to explain it to anyone who was not there though. 
 I have been wracking my brain trying to remember one thing from his presentation and I am hoping that the collective will be able to help me.  When he was talking about his work with teens and tobacco he talked about three things the tobacco industry used to to make their advertising memorable.  
1. Create an emotional response
2. Something that I can't remember
3. Act upon it.

Does anyone know what the 2nd thing was?  It's killing me.
