In response to Sue Heraper, we subscribe to Facts on File online
databases in history and science and we are very satisfied with them.
Two years ago I obtained "trial" subscriptions from FoF/Gale/ and a
couple of others.  I had a panel of middle school teachers and students
(Grades 6-8) come in and use them during the trial period, filling out
questionnaires and making comparisons and recommendations: Facts on File
won by a landslide.
