So, you've had a busy day attending sessions at the California School
Library Association's Conference and you want to sit down to dinner - not eat on
the run. Several of the previously mentioned restaurants let you do that, but
other possibilities abound in the area. Perhaps you're in the mood for Asian...

The Conference Center is at 13th/14th and J/K. Right up on the corner at
16th and J is P.F. Chang's _www.pfchangs.com_ (http://www.pfchangs.com) , which
has locations across the United States, and is open for lunch and dinner as
well as take-out (if you just want to order something to take back to your
room and put your feet up!) Around the corner, on 16th between J and K, is
locally owned Mikuni's _www.mikunisushi.com_ (http://www.mikunisushi.com) , where
you can enjoy sushi, tempura, vegetarian options and more. Also near, open for
lunch and dinner, are Zen Sushi - located at 15th and I, Megami Bento-Ya at
1010 10th St. - just off J, Sakura Teppan and Sushi at 9th and J and Taiko
at 10th and K. Note that some of these do a large lunch business due to
location and/or reputation. Previously mentioned Ma Jong's is Asian, but has no
wait staff, you order and collect your own. Dragonfly at 18th and Capitol (M)
offers Asian "tapas" as well as sushi and Thai dishes.

Perhaps Italian is more interesting to you. Lucca _www.luccarestaurant.com_
(http://www.luccarestaurant.com) is located at 1615 J - across the street and
half a block from P.F. Chang's. Up at 19th and J is The Old Spaghetti
Factory _www.osf.com_ (http://www.osf.com) , a little bit of a walk - preferably
with several people. If it's more of a neighborhood pizza and pasta place
you'd like - Paesano's _www.paesanos.biz_ (http://www.paesanos.biz) may be just
the thing at 18th and Capitol (M) - again, walk with some friends.

Food for thought? We'll be back next weekend!
