Hello Lana,

Start with Comic Life- it's a sure-fire path to unbridled success.   
It's also so user friendly that you and your middle schoolers can both  
learn as you go and produce quality results from the start.   
Originally released on Mac's, the application is now available on both  
Windoze and Mac's at a very reasonable cost.
