Acquaint yourself with your local County Office of Education librarians and
library. They offer free or very low cost training opportunities for school
librarians, library techs and volunteers. Their libraries house complete
sets of every textbook adoption in the county. They often have a CTAP
professional on staff, who can help you learn the new technologies you'll
need to be successful in a school environment. You won't believe the wealth
of free information available to you through the County Office Library.
