[CALIBK12] Announcing a new round of the Eureka! Leadership Program

The California State Library, in partnership with Infopeople, is  
pleased to offer a new round of the Eureka! Leadership Program.  To  
complement this new program, we have completely updated the Eureka!  
Leadership website (see: http://eurekaleadership.org/). The complete

The Eureka! Leaderhip Program for 2008-2010 contains four phases:
Phase 1: Exploring Library Leadership, a one-day open registration  
workshop
Phase 2: Building Leadership Skills, a series of nine one-day open  
registration workshops
Phase 3: Eureka! Leadership Institute, a multi-day residential institute
Phase 4: Eureka! Leadership in Action, implementation of the projects  
initiated in Phase 3

Phase 1: Exploring Library Leadership is now open for registration (http://infopeople.org/workshop/383 
). The first Phase 2 workshop, Building Leadership Skills: Leading  
Teams, will be offered starting in Nov 2008. You can see a list &  
brief description of all Phase 1 & 2 workshops here: http://eurekaleadership.org/workshops/index.html 
. Those who register for all nine Phase 2 workshops receive a discount  
of $75 - nine workshops for the price of eight ($600). To register for  
all 9 Phase 2 workshops and receive this dicount, please complete the  
registration form included in the 2008-2009 brochure or email Linda  
Rodenspiel at assist at infopeople.org for more information.

Please note: admission to Phase 3, the multi-day residential  
institute, is by competitive application. Participation in Phases 1  
and 2 is not required for admission to Phase 3. Those admitted to  
Phase 3 automatically continue on to Phase 4.
