[CALIBK12] Shelf space

First, I have been needing to thank everyone for their wonderful ideas  
for murals in the library. I am only just recovering from a major  
computer crash, so responding to everyone just wasn't possible. But I  
am so excited to move this project forward now!

Another part of improving our library is finding space where there is  
none. I think I can do this by moving my shelves. I need to do this  
anyway because I have several sections where books are spine up  
because there isn't enough room for them to be normal.

So, can anyone tell me what the average space between shelves is,  
specifically for reference, non-fiction, and fiction?
