To the calibk12 group,
Here's a follow-up to the recent discussion about translation glossaries for the CAHSEE. Please note that dictionaries are not appropriate because they contain definitions. Hope this helps to clarify. Barbara

Ms. Jeffus,
To the best of my knowledge, there are no CDE Spanish-to-English glossaries. However, the mathematics study guide does have Spanish translations for the math terms in its glossary. (The study guide is available on the CAHSEE Program Resources Web page at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/hs/resources.asp.
As long as they do not contain definitions, districts can create their own translation glossaries.
