Hi Tom,
We get a lot of student and staff use of the library because we offer...
1. 10 (of our 32) student computers that are designed to capture, edit and write audio and video.
2. editing software- we use Adobe Premiere CS3
3. student/staff support
Teachers from all subject areas assign video projects and kids get into them and spend incredible time working on them, not because they have to- because they love it. We get football and basketball players, making season hi-lite tapes, classes making videos to enter contests, senior memories generated for 10 year reunions, advertisements, propaganda, interviews- lots of things. Because this is available in the library there are many teachers who accept audio/video as an optional media for finished projects.

Here is my odd question for the day: What two or three purchases (besides books) most made a difference in your library? Feel free to take your answer in any direction that works for you.
Some things to consider:
1. Increased circulation.
2. Increased technology.
3. Increased services to students.
Thanks!
