[CALIBK12] Query: free reading time at school improves test scores?

Hello Colleagues.  One of our librarians has almost convinced her
principal to launch an in-school scheduled reading time for everyone in
the building.  Does anyone have hard evidence that this practice
improves reading test scores?  Thank you!
