[Debbie Reese]

SLJ's new issue (April) has an article by Mitali 
Perkins. Definitely worth reading. She poses some 
good questions. She also does some interesting 
reflection on one of her own books, about how she 
ended it, and, based on criticism from a 
reviewer, revised that ending when the book was reprinted.
