As I am retiring at the end of this school year (hooray!), there will
be an opening at Hueneme High School in Oxnard beginning with 2009-10
school year.   HHS is part of the Oxnard Union High School District
and is located on Bard Rd. in South Oxnard.  It is a Title I school
with a student body which is 85% Hispanic.  I have enjoyed my 18 year
tenure at HHS.  The faculty is a close one and has always been
supportive of the library.  The students are good kids, many of whom
need extra help to improve their academic skills. 

We have a brand new administration this school year, but the
principal has been as financially supportive of the library as site
funding would allow.
