[CALIBK12] Technology in transition

A month or so ago, I encouraged teacher librarians in CA to get into the
technology conversations in their districts. I now notice that the Feds are
releasing the first wave of technology grant monies to the school districts
of the nation and I'm wondering if you are in that conversation.
If you have not read Greg Farr's blog post in Education Week, it is very

I would appreciate a few horror stories about blocked technologies off line;
but also any stories of tech directors you know who are turning access to
web 2.0 around.
