Update on Turkish hacker activity:

I just wanted you all to know that I was able to email my web host (WebHero)
and got a quick response and fix to the site. After quickly Googling the
hacker's name I was able to find that he is apparently notorious for this.
Many sources said he has hacked over 117,000 sites in the last 4-5 years.
Once in 2006 he hacked 21, 459 sites in one day! It looks like this guy does
not have malicious intent but it really made me more aware of these things.
>From what I understand it the the web hosts' job to protect users from this,
he must have found some vulnerability on the host servers.

Anyway, here is a link to some info I found.

Hope you have a good weekend (or week if you're on break)

I just received a call from a teacher who said she tried to access the
school website and it had been hacked by a Turkish Hacker named "iskorpitx"
After Googling this name I found this happened to thousands of other people.
I had not heard of this before but I'm on hold on the the phone now with my
web host trying to get it fixed. I've never dealt with this so I'm not sure
what this all means? Has anyone had their school site hacked? You may want
to check yours just to make sure. My home URL is completely different. It
looks like my other related files are still visible though. Annoying!
Any advice? Is there anything I can do to safeguard myself from this?
