Thanks so much for sharing this video.  Delaine is a powerful speaker for kids and strong school libraries.  I wish YouTube videos existed back in the days Delaine was in office as Superintendent of Public Instruction.  She was an outstanding CSLA "Best Seller" for strong school libraries, and remains.

For those of you who missed Eastin's term in office, here is an indication of her passion.



For those who were there, it is a reminder.



Remember, this is a "non-partisan" office.  Eastin demonstrated that when she worked in the legislature with Bob Craven to create the school library check-off on the income tax form, and again when she worked with Pete Wilson to create the line item for school library materials.
