Eric Carle appears to be scheduled on the Target Children's Stage on Saturday, April 25th at 2:40pm.  David Shannon will be on the same stage earlier at 11:00am.  On Sunday, there will be Henry Winkler at 12:35pm, and Jon Sciezska will be there at 1:35 pm.  I love this event!

It's almost time again for the FESTIVAL OF BOOKS at UCLA.

There is a (verified) rumor that the artist who did the logo for this
year's Festival will be autographing his books on Saturday.  He is NOT
on the list below from the web page.
 
All it costs is $9 to park at UCLA and food/drink...unless you buy
books.  The panels are free (well, handling charge of .75 per ticket)
but you do need tickets from ticketmaster.  They go online  the Sunday
before the Festival.  Check it out!!!
 
What a day!  This year I will be a Bookword (area supervisor) who goes
where needed.  Wave if you see me.  Or stop and talk!
