Of course I have student videos and more coming! :) Is there a place we can load the videos that support well funded and well staffed school libraries so that the entire world can see them? Is there a place on the teachertube website? or YouTube? And if we do load them, what tags should we use so that we can all find them when we need them?
Exciting to have a contest, I can't wait until next school year.

Subject: [CALIBK12] I Love My Video contest by GALES

CSLA friends,
FYI - I was looking at older posts on my Advocate4Libraries blog to see what I had on student videos that promote libraries and I found an announcement by GALES about checking back on April 12, 2009 -- see http://www.gale.cengage.com/librareo/

[See May 2007 "I Love My Library" post at http://advocate4libraries.blogspot.com/2007/05/i-love-my-library-video-contest.html]

The reason I was looking at earlier posts on video contests was that I've agreed to draft guidelines for a CSLA contest for student-produced library videos. If you already are doing short videos at your school and have guidelines, policies, tips & tricks, examples, or anything useful, please send me a note. Thanks!

Best wishes.
