[CALIBK12] Employee Debts

I never charge staff members for lost books - it is just a courtesy, and it seldom happens. However, I have had staff members loose things like videos. I ask them to have the dept transfer the money to replace it. In some cases they are embarrassed enough that they just pay for it themselves. I remember one modern language teacher who used to lose the same French video every year until I finally said that I wouldn't replace it again. He bought a copy and donated it. Then when he retired he found at least one of the old ones in his room!

As an aside, do people charge staff members for lost library books? I never have, but it is also a very rare occurrance.

Hello calibers,
Do you have a specific form that you all use when you charge a staff member for a lost library book?
Thanks for you help and support.
