Each year I watch the ALA elections and notice how few vote. Sandy has 
already given you the endorsement of Kent Oliver for president, and I 
second that endorsement. He will be very helpful for school librarians and 
their issues within the larger organization.

Please vote. And, please vote for those people with school library and 
children's/YA affiliations for Council. They have already been named for 
you. We could take a much larger role in ALA if we "spoke" more often.
