This came out of Marley's well known Rorschach Period.

He designed it to determine what was bothering folks and to give them some comfort.

There is an extensive dissertation on this in Alan Moore's Rorschach's Journal dated October 12, 1985.

Bob's great great uncle Jacob had much to say on the subject in Marley's Ghost, detailing Marley's tragic life and subsequent sacrifice on behalf of his former partner, Ebenezer.

Much of this history has been blotted out by various holiday traditions.

Subject: [CALIBK12] Bob Marley lyrics analysis

Hello,
I have a student who is trying to analyze the lyrics to Marely's song,
"Three Little Birds". I've tried Ebsco and the Internet and can't find
anything other than people's own interpretation. Anyone know of a
credible source????
