Shelee,
Here is a list from an AP teacher at our school (Colony High). She had already been thinking about this and had worked on it-it looks really helpful!

Subject: [CALIBK12] Reading list for AP Environmental Science
I know that some of you out there will have some great suggestions. Our school will be offering AP Environmental Science next fall and I am working with the teacher on a couple things. One of those things is a summer reading list. I am looking for some suggestions that might get the students thinking on a higher level. The teacher suggested Arctic Dream by Gary Lopez (I had not heard of it). I have to admit I am not well read in this area. If any of you have run across anything that would be applicable I would love to hear from you.
Thank you,
Shelee Wilkerson
