There is a book titled GIFTS which includes essays of mother's with
Down' Syndrome babies.  Perhaps it is in there.

I have a teacher who is trying to find an essay she read about 10 years
ago.  It was written by a mother whose child had Down's Syndrome
(possibly CP).  It was about how you don't always get what you
expect....when she was pregnant, she had dreams/expectations for her new
baby...like what you expect to see when you go to Paris on a
trip....however, her plane landed in Australia....Australia is good, but
she expected Paris.

Does anyone out there recognize this and have a source?
