If it is dry, it should peel off, if it is wet use salt to absorb it.

Yes, that’s egg on books, not books on eggs. Do any of you have any knowledge of the best way to remove egg from books? My library has no ceiling, it’s like a big cubicle in the middle of our commons. Last period someone threw an egg over and it landed on a top shelf of books and dripped down onto books below. 
 
Thanks for any info you may have. I’m going to call DEMCO to see if they have any suggestions.
