[CALIBK12] egg on books

It also works great for getting it off of furniture.  I just had to use it this week to remove gum from underneath of a table edge.  One caveat - you might want to test a small inconspicuous spot first  to make sure it doesn't stain ore remove finish.

This wouldn't apply to egg, but Goo Gone is a miracle product when it comes to getting sticky, gooey stuff off of books.  It's also great at getting dried gum out of carpeting.

I find baby wipes work well for getting sticky stuff off of books.  I discovered it by mistake and I swear by it now.

Yes, that’s egg on books, not books on eggs. Do any of you have any knowledge of the best way to remove egg from books? My library has no ceiling, it’s like a big cubicle in the middle of our commons. Last period someone threw an egg over and it landed on a top shelf of books and dripped down onto books below.

Thanks for any info you may have. I’m going to call DEMCO to see if they have any suggestions.
