[CALIBK12] 1957 Yearbook Copyright Issue

Without permission from the school, fair use copyright law applies, and only a portion can be copied, not the whole book.   
 
I researched this issue extensively when developing a Yearbook Policy for our school.  Basically, the school owns the copyright.  Schools have the right to protect their students' images, so we only allow people to copy their own picture from the yearbook.  We get many yearbook requests because Tiger Woods graduated from our school, hence a need to develop a policy (see policy attached, and also the sources I used to develop it).  
 
Alumni can purchase extra copies of yearbooks if we have them.  The money goes back to the Yearbook account.  We also gave the Alumni Association permission to digitize some of the older yearbooks and sell copies to alumni at reunions.

I have a daughter of an alum who is getting a copy of her father's
yearbook and wants to make a photocopy of the entire yearbook, bind it and
give it to her father. The copy place wants a release from our school and
I'm not sure what the legalities of this are. I would like some feedback
