[CALIBK12] looking for a title

This reminds me of a series that I read as a child a long time ago by Edward Eager.  Titles in the series included Half Magic, Knight's Castle, Magic by the Lake, The Time Garden, Magic or Not?, Well-Wishers and Seven-day Magic.  In each book, brothers and sisters travel to a different time period.  I don't specifically remember unplugged TVs, I just recall the time travel and great adventures.

i had a request from a mom
at our school asking about
a series of books she read
as an elementary student
during the 70s. the premise,
as she remembers it, involved
2 or 3 children visiting their
uncle and while looking
around in his attic they see
some tvs that are not plugged
into the wall but nevertheless
allow them visit other places,
time travel of a sort??
does this sound familiar
to anyone out there?
any help would be most
appreciated!
