Does anyone know if the CA Content Standards have been translated into student friendly language? If so can you share a copy or let me know where these can be found? My school has decided to post the standards being taught daily but we all feel that the actual language will not be easily understood by students. In order to provide students with equal access we would like all teachers to use the same student friendly language. However, it does not seem to be the best use of teacher collaboration time to sit and rewrite the standards. I'm hoping that someone else has already done this work (even if it is a textbook publisher) already and we don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks,
