I have had numerous "how to" calls about the Sees fundraisers. See's website is great. To start a Sees Candy fundraiser you need to go to the following Sees site and create an account. There is link called "How do I start a fundraiser?" to read to get you started. http://fr.sees.com/
>From their site with my notes in parenthesis:
Starting a fundraiser with See's is as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Pick your program.
Decide which of our fantastic fundraisers is right for you. We have a variety of Fundraising Programs to make fundraising easy and profitable for any size group.
2. Plan your fundraiser.
Use our Fundraising Planning Calendar
(this is of great help to determine your time line)
to determine the timing and type of fundraiser your group would like to do.
(In the upper left corner click on the link that says Fundraising Programs. I have always used the 50% Fundrasing program. You are given a selection of 3 or 4 items that sell for $5.00 and cost $2.50.)
Once that has been decided, use the Customer Planner to choose the free sales tools you need.
Go to the Order Sales Materials section of the site and place your order. We'll ship it directly to you (it will arrive in 7-10 days) or you can pick it up at any of our Quantity Discount Shops.
(Order all your flyers, collection envelopes, order forms, banners and bags free, yes I said free, from Sees)
My Logistics:
Each student should receive a full glossy flyer and collection envelope. I print on the blank side of the envelope a small paragraph (attached). This way the important info does not get separated from the collection flyer. I put up the free banners at school, put a blurb in the school newsletter. On my website I will have an article with pdf links for more flyers and student order forms for easy access. I have the office follow up in the daily announcements to the school every day in the final week before the turn in deadline.
3. Place your order.
You have a variety of ways to place your candy order.
Go to the Order Candy section of our site.
Download your order form from the Forms Library and fax to 1-800-935-7337 or email to qdordering at sees.com.
Call a Customer Service Representative today at 1-800-SEES-123.
Contact your local Quantity Discount Shop and an Account Executive will assist you
There are three seasonal fundraisers:
50% Winter
50% Valentine
50% Spring
This year did Winter (Christmas/Hanukkah etc ) and plan on doing the Spring (Easter time). Last year I only did the Valentine. All 3 in one year is too many for our school.
I hope this helps. Feel free to email me offline if you have any questions.
Happy fundraising!
