I do not know how to post on CALIBK12 for all to see, but wanted you to
know that

Panorama School hosted Paul during his visit out last year and my
students still talk about him.

He gives a wonderful presentation and engages the students at all
levels.

I highly recommend him if you can possibly do it.

I hope he can get a few dates, but the timing couldn't be worse.

... My daughter, Emma, is a freshman at U of Redlands .... I plan to
visit her next month while I am in CA for a couple of author visits. As
usual, I am always on the lookout for new schools to visit, so I have
decided to offer a special deal to any school that schedules me to visit
with its kids in 2009. I am looking specifically to make my visits
during the week of February 23-27, but I would be happy to talk about a
visit at another time. I would be grateful if you could post this info
on any sort of listserve/website to which you have access

 

To make the deal more appealing in such tough economic times when
schools are taking such a hard hit, I am offering a reduced fee of $1000
per day. In addition, I will pay for airfare and, if possible, stay with
a friend, saving you the cost of a motel. If I cannot arrange to stay
with a friend, however, the school would be responsible for the charge
of a motel. Such a deal! I hope there are some schools with enough
funding to take advantage of this deduced fee.
