There is nothing more frustrating than having technical glitches interrupt
a historic moment that you are trying to provide for your students. Be
sure you check in with your Tech Department for the capacity of your
network to reliably deliver simultaneous streaming to so many sites. Our
district cannot. We are having all our schools test run their tv
connections, which in some cases includes running out to buy cheap rabbit
ear antennae, and to make sure they have all the cables they need to
connect to a projector and amplify sound adequately for whatever size of
viewing group they are planning. We suggested their test run be done by
today, so that we can problem solve through glitches over the next couple
of days, especially since Monday is a holiday and the inauguration starts
early Tuesday.

We're also recording it and providing each library with a copy on dvd.
