[CALIBK12] TARGET: Movie to accompany/compliment Esperanza Rising

A teacher is using Esperanza Rising with a remedial class and the kids love the book.  She would like to find a movie that deals with similar themes/topics to show either selected scenes or the entire film to stimulate class discussion and/or writing assignments.  Maybe comparing and contrasting the 2 stories.
