I spoke with my principal about not being on the Teacher of the Year nomination list (armed with my eligibility requirements sheet). I also said it was the perfect time to promote Teacher Librarians given the trend to cutting our jobs, etc.

The short version is that he put me on the nomination list. Thanks for everyone's support!
