Subject: [CALIBK12] TARGET: high school: short non-fiction suggestions
All,
I have an English teacher here who is looking for non-fiction for her high school students. She wants it to be short and high-interest ("they can relate to it"). She says just about any sub-genre is OK-biography, inspirational, personal essays, etc. Her students range from below reading level to honors, so don't be limited by reading level. Do you have any ideas to share?
By the way, I only got a few responses to my request for American government books, so I don't think there's any interest in a hit list, but if you want to know what I received, email me off the list.
Thanks as always!
